Class Schedules

Welcome to Dickson Career Institute page. These courses are developed and conducted to ensure student success and immediate on the job knowledge acquisition by ensuring that students gain the knowledge to successfully complete industry certification examinations. These courses are live classes that focus on hands-on on-the-job training, thus enabling successful students to transition easily to a workforce.

Industry Certification:
Upon completion of each course, students are encouraged to pay for and take the industry certification for which they have been prepared during the class. Students will have the opportunity to take their industry certification exams in the convenience of their classroom without having to find an external testing center.


A+ Certification
Learn everything you need to know in order to Serve as the only Technology Professional for a small business or non-profit organization.Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, manage, and upgrade all hardware and software in the organization. Setup, configure, manage and troubleshoot networking equipment: NICs, Routers, Switches, Servers, and Cables.

Serve as network administrator, use server software to administer user accounts through the Active Directory.
Configure and troubleshoot employees’ mobile devices and desktops.

Prepare for the premier Information Technology Certification exam, CompTIA’s A+ certification, making each student a certified Information Technology Support Specialists.

CompTIA Network+

The CompTIA Network+ certification is the sign of a qualified networking professional. Microsoft includes CompTIA Network+ in their Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) program, and other corporations such as Novell, Cisco and HP also recognize CompTIA Network+ as part of their certification tracks. CompTIA Network+ certification is a vendor-neutral certification considered by many employers as a prerequisite for entry-level IT employment in the area of IT networks. Network+ certification signifies that the individual is capable of performing tasks such as installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of common networking systems. CompTIA Network+ certification serves as a solid foundation for other networking and IT certification programs offered by vendors such as Microsoft and Cisco. ATI’s hands-on Network+ class not only prepares you for certification, we also give you the tools needed for on-the-job success. This course prepares you for CompTIA’s Network+ certification N10-005.

CompTIA Security+
CompTIA Security+ certification designates knowledgeable professionals in the field of security, one of the fastest growing fields in IT. CompTIA Security+ is an international, vendor-neutral certification that demonstrates competency in: Network security, compliance and operational security, threats and vulnerabilities, application, data and host security, access control and identity management, cryptography. CompTIA Security+ not only ensures that candidates will apply knowledge of security concepts, tools, and procedures to react to security incidents; it ensures that security personnel are anticipating security risks and guarding against them. ATI’s scenario based labs offered in the Security+ course ensures that you learn the concepts tools and procedures needed to react to various security incidents at a workplace. Windows Server 2008, 2012, and Active Directory
